Tadić - Chen Bo: Decision to abolish visas needs to be passed in BiH Parliament

SARAJEVO, March 29 (FENA) - Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Ognjen Tadić and the Ambassadors of the People's Republic of China in BiH Chen Bo at today's meeting expressed regret with postponement of the ratification of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the mutual abolition of visas for holders of regular passports on 21 March due to termination of the session of the House of Peoples.

Therefore, the two officials expressed expectation that in order to better connect the citizens of the two countries, is an extremely important for this decision to be passed at the next session of the House of Peoples scheduled for 17 April.

Ambassador Bo informed Tadić about the key conclusions of the recent Sessions of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC), as well as the 13th Chinese People's Political Advisory Conference (CPPCC), which is traditionally held at the beginning of March each year.

Ambassador Chen Bo stressed in particular the efforts being made by China for a more efficient control of financial flows through new institutions in order to reduce the risk of corruption, stated the Public Relations Office of the BiH PA.
