Jusko-Kajmaković: Sarajevo Airport dealing with the problem of fog on the runway

SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) - Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH Ismir Jusko held a meeting today with General Manager of the Sarajevo International Airport Armin Kajmaković and Director of the Sarajevo Airport System Management Sector Nermin Zijadić at which they discussed solving the problem of frequent presence of fog on the runway.

Following the initiative by Minister Jusko stemming from a meeting with Bulgarian Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski, representatives of the Sarajevo International Airport recently had a meeting in Sofia with the Bulgarian Air Transport Authority - BULATSA.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged experience in the field of air traffic, with a special emphasis on solving the problem of fog at airports during the winter period.

At today's meeting, Kajmaković and Zijadić presented to Jusko and his associates the results of the meeting in Sofia, a new system for solving the problem of fog at the Sarajevo Airport’s runway and the general plan of the Sarajevo International Airport activities in the coming period, stated the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH.
