SARAJEVO, March 12 (FENA) - A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegović, received today Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH, Zorica Bukinac.
Izetbegović and Bukinac highlighted the good bilateral relations between the two countries, with the conclusion that there is still room for improvement.
The two officials exchanged views on the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the relations among the countries in the region.
They concluded that the new strategy of the European Commission for the Western Balkans, in addition to giving each state a unique opportunity for accelerated progress given that they meet the conditions for EU membership, contributes to a faster and more efficient resolution of open issues among the countries in the region.
Ambassador Bukinac emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina will have a strong support from Slovenia in activating the Membership Action Plan with NATO and obtaining a candidate status in the process of EU accession, stated the BiH Presidency.
