SKOPJE/SARAJEVO, March 12 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić, met today with the President of the Macedonian Parliament Talat Xhaferi, in Skopje, announced the BiH Council of Ministers.
The two officials discussed bilateral cooperation and enhancement of political relations.
It was noted that the relations between the two countries are very good and friendly, with no outstanding issues. It was pointed out that both countries are interested in improvement of the overall bilateral relations and especially economic cooperation.
Chairman Zvizdic informed the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, Xhaferi, about the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He emphasized the implementation of reforms and acceleration of the European path as priorities in the work of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Zvizdić also noted that by submitting the responses to the European Commission Questionnaire, BiH has showed that he has the will, knowledge and credibility to obtain a candidate status.
He stressed that it is important to encourage the intensification of cooperation between BiH and Macedonia in the integration processes and the approach to the EU through the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP) and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).
