ICMP to donate equipment for DNA laboratory to the University of Sarajevo

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, March 6 (FENA) - The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) will tomorrow, 7 March, donate equipment for the DNA laboratory to the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo.

ICMP has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than 20 years and has always tried, with developing and adapting its technical conditions, to make available the equipment that is no longer used to their domestic partners.

The laboratory equipment has already been donated to partners in Banja Luka and ICMP believes that this latest contribution will have positive impact on forensic science in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The equipment will be handed over by ICMP Western Balkan Program Manager Matthew Holliday. Professor of biomedicine and genetics Izet Eminović will receive it on behalf of the faculty, ICMP announced today.
