MOSTAR/ SARAJEVO, Feb 28 (FENA) - On the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko Cavara, extended his message of congratulations.
" Bosnia and Herzegovina became an independent and internationally recognized state 26 years ago. As we then in 1992 unanimously committed ourselves to independence, we should also today jointly continue to build Bosnia and Herzegovina as we chose, a state of equal constituent peoples, citizens and members of other peoples living in it, " Cavar said in the message of congratulations.
Recalling that BiH is now closer to EU membership, President Cavara underscored that only through joint actions and strengthening of mutual trust and respect could we contribute to the stabilization of social, political and economic relations in the Federation of BiH and BiH, and thus to the faster and more efficient fulfillment of the conditions for EU membership.
"Therefore, we are united and strongly committed to the European future of our country," concludes the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in his message of congratulations.
