SARAJEVO, February 26 (FENA) - The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) Chamber of Commerce took part in the International Fair of Future Industry and Technology "FIT IZMIR", which brought together makers of innovative systems and equipment for several areas and was thematically conceived as the Automation Fair, Electric, Electronic and Power Fair, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Fair, Metal Processing Fair, and Construction Automation Fair.
The fair was held in İzmir from 22 to 25 February.
A special honor was given to the BiH delegation through the welcoming speech of FBiH Chamber of Commerce President Mirsad Jašarspahić given at the opening ceremony and the official ribbon-cutting.
The FBiH Chamber of Commerce received a 66 m2 booth for the purpose of presenting the BiH economy, presenting companies Aluminij d.d. Mostar, Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo, Bekto Precisa, as well as all others whose development is driven by active participation in the professional associations of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce.
The overall presentation of BiH economy and potential was enhanced by the participation of representatives of the BiH Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA).
BiH fairs, partnered by the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, were presented at the reception in the cabinet of the director of the İzmir Fair, Gül Şener. Following discussions on areas of mutual interest and target groups at the presented fair events, further steps have been agreed upon regarding organized visits to fairs in BiH.
At a meeting with the president of the İzmir Chamber of Commerce, Ekrem Demirtaş, with whom the FBiH Chamber of Commerce has an agreement on cooperation, the representatives of manufacturers and processors of aluminum products were presented with the possibilities of cooperation with Aluminij d.d. Mostar.
As a result of this meeting, visits to two companies in the area of İzmir, dealing with the production of special aluminum finishing profiles, were arranged for the following day, where representatives of Aluminij d.d. Mostar exchanged information on plans, offers and investments in direct talks.
Throughout all fair and protocol activities, as well as working meetings, the BiH delegation was joined by a general honorary consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey Kemal Baysak, thus giving additional importance to BiH delegation.
During the specially organized reception at the premises of the General Honorary Consulate, Mr. Baysak presented to the BiH delegation members a rich experience and activities of the consulate, the FBiH Chamber of Commerce said.
