SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the session that concluded last evening adopted the amendments to the Law on Communications introducing a single 112 emergency number throughout the territory of BiH.
There was no entity majority for the support to the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Protection of Persons Reporting Corruption in BiH Institutions proposed by Aleksandra Pandurević (SDS), Borjana Krišto (HDZ) and Mirsad Isaković (SBB).
The deputies of the HoR once again appointed Commissioner Boško Šiljegović as the Parliamentary Military Commissioner.
The deputies of the HoR supported the initiative submitted by an MP Denis Bećirović (SDP), which calls on the competent authorities of Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina and Posavina cantons and Canton 10 to amend their cantonal constitutions within 30 days’ time, in order to ensure equality and constitutionality of Serbs, as well as to clarify and ensure constitutional equality of Bosnian and Serbian languages, and Latin and Cyrillic alphabets.
An initiative by the Independent Bloc was also supported referring to the retail margin of distributors of petroleum and petroleum products.
The MPs supported the ratification of the Loan Agreement (Banking Sector Strengthening Project) between BiH and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, for a loan of 56.6 million euros.
