OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO/VIENNA, February 19 (FENA) - OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger is starting a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) tomorrow.

In BiH, the Secretary-General will meet with BiH Presidency members, the BiH Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Chairperson and Second Deputy Chairperson of the BiH Parliament House of Peoples, the Second Deputy Chairperson of the House of Representatives, the Prime Minister and Education Minister of the Central Bosnian Canton.

He will also visit secondary schools in Vitez and meet with representatives of the civil society organizations and Ambassadors of OSCE participating States, announced the OSCE Mission to BiH.

Secretary-General Greminger will furthermore address the staff of the OSCE Mission to BiH and co-chair an event to launch the Report Trial Monitoring of Corruption Cases in BiH: A First Assessment, issued by the OSCE Mission to BiH, and developed pursuant to the project Assessing Needs of Judicial Response to Corruption through Monitoring of Criminal Cases with the support of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
