FBiH Government approves 2018 Privatization Plan

SARAJEVO, February 8 (FENA) - The FBiH Government has given its approval for the Work Program with Privatization Plan and the Financial Plan of the Agency for Privatization in the FBiH (APF) for 2018.

The companies’ sales plan anticipates the privatization of Energopetrol (Sarajevo), Energoinvest (Sarajevo), Aluminij (Mostar) and Sarajevo Insurance (Sarajevo).

Concluding on December 4, 2017, the APF register included 1,450 companies. By the small privatization method, 278 companies were privatized, 356 companies were privatized by the large privatization tender, and the remaining state capital in three companies was privatized through the stock exchange. Through the public offering of shares, 747 companies were wholly or partially privatized. The total privatization was completed for 1,088 enterprises (74.8 percent), and a total of 2,597 cases were sold under the terms of the small privatization. Regarding the results of the privatization shown in the values on 4 December 2017, the state capital for privatization amounted to 13.5 billion KM.

The privatized state capital and assets amount to 5.807 billion KM, revenue from certificates was 8.485 billion KM and 0.677 billion KM was in cash.

The value of non-privatized capital amounts to 7.693 billion KM, stated the FBiH Government PR Department.
