Custody in Krnjić et al. case terminated, prohibiting measures ordered

SARAJEVO, February 6 (FENA) - Deciding upon the Prosecution Motion to terminate the custody of the Suspects and order the prohibiting measures, on 5 February 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered the Decision granting the Prosecution motion, terminating the custody of the Suspects Almir Krnjić, Adis Abaz and Adem Abaz and ordering the following prohibiting measures:

Ban on leaving the place of residence;

Mandatory reporting to the state authority - for the purpose of this measure the Suspects are ordered to report to the designated police station once a week.

The imposed prohibiting measures may last as long as necessary, or pending a new Decision of the Court. The review of justifiability of the measures shall be carried out on a bimonthly basis.

The Suspects may be ordered into custody if they fail to abide by the imposed measures. 

Almir Krnjić, Adis Abaz and Adem Abaz are suspected of the criminal offense Organized Crime in violation of Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Arms and Military Equipment and products of dual use in violation of Article 193(1) of the CC of BiH.
