MOSTAR, February 1 (FENA) - Independent Trade Union of Workers of "Ero" hotel in Mostar staged today in front of the building of federal institutions in Mostar, in which a session of the Government of FBiH is being held, a peaceful protest due to the unresolved status of employees of this hotel that was shut down last year .
- Today we have come here to ask support from the FBiH Government in solving our problems. Contributions for 62 workers have not been paid for the last four years - the President of the Union of Employees of Hotel "Ero" Mira Mandic said.
She pointed out that KM 1, 200,000 were needed for the contributions to be paid for the workers for four years.
- At the beginning we addressed the City of Mostar as our founder and owner, we held meetings, but the City could not settle the debts. We did not have any other choice but to contact the FBiH Government. We have already sent a letter. Today we happened to learn that the session was being held in Mostar and we came, although we did not announce, in the hope that someone would hear us after the session, said Mandic.
To remain, the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton n June 2017 made a decision to buy a building of the Mostar Hotel "Ero” of approximately 9,500 square meters, in which all cantonal institutions should be accommodated.
The total price of KM 10.5 million has been agreed with the representatives of the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance, which is the owner of the building , and a purchase agreement just remains to be signed, told Fena the Spokesman of the HNC Government.
