ROME/SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy Angelino Alfano, participated today in Rome in the International Conference on the Accountability of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight against Antisemitism, hosted by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
During his address at the plenary session, Crnadak pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a multicultural, multiethnic and multi-religious country, committed to the fight against xenophobia, intolerance and discrimination, as well as antisemitism.
Crnadak emphasized that the Inter-religious Council of BiH was established with the aim of promoting tolerance and peaceful coexistence among the four main religious communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and noted that the Council plays a key role in the development of the law on freedom of religion and is successfully working on coexistence and reconciliation.
The International Conference on the Accountability of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight Against Antisemitism in the OSCE was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Karin Kneissl, Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dačić, Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion of Malta Carmelo Abela, Foreign Minister of Montenegro Srdjan Darmanović, as well as Secretary for Relations with the States of the Holy See Paul Richard Gallagher, stated the Public Relations Office of the MFA BiH.
