SARAJEVO, January 25 (FENA) – The Government of the Federation of BiH at today’s session tasked the FBiH Finance Police to inspect the operations of Zenica Steelworks, examine and determine the factual situation, take measures and activities on that basis and inform the FBiH Government.
The FBiH Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry was tasked to organize a joint meeting with the management of Arcelor Mittal Zenica, the bankruptcy trustee and representatives of employees, in order to provide an adequate proposal for a solution.
At the same time, the FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, Nermin Džindić, informed today the FBiH Government that his ministry is sending to the FBiH Tax Administration on a daily basis the lists of workers it had received from the previous Steelworks administration, in order to bind service of 97 workers, in accordance with the Law.
The FBiH Government today extended until 7 July 2019 he deadline for the financial consolidation of companies “Helios” Banovići, “Mapex” Maglaj and “Klas” Sarajevo, stated the FBiH Government’s PR Office.
