SARAJEVO, January 23 (FENA) - An extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, scheduled for today by members of the Social Democratic Party of BiH and the Democratic Front to consider the law on constituencies and the number of mandates in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, will not be held due to the lack of a quorum, confirmed to deputies of SBB, SDP, DF, Party for BiH, A-SDA and BPS the Head of the Democratic Front's Caucus, Dženan Đonlagić, claiming that only 43 deputies came to the session.

“We thank you for coming to today's session. According to the Rules of Procedure, at least 50 representatives have to attend, and we have no quorum for holding the session,” Đonlagić said, and announced that an extraordinary press conference of SDP and DF caucuses is to be held.

Members of caucuses of SDA and HDZ-HNS BiH chose not to come to the session.

Under the proposed Draft Law, SDP and DF caucuses propose that the electoral constituencies and the number of mandates in the House of Representatives be regulated in accordance with democratic principles, because, as they stated, the Parliament's legal obligation arising from the Election Law of BiH has not been implemented after 15 years now.
