Jasminko Halilović the first Bosnian on the Forbes list "30 Under 30"

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, January 22 (FENA) - The prestigious magazine Forbes has announced its traditional list of young leaders "30 Under 30", and this year the list also included a Bosnian - the founder of the War Childhood Museum Jasminko Halilović.

After the Council of Europe’s Museum Prize in December last year, this is the second major international recognition for the War Childhood Museum in a short period of time, the Museum said.

The Forbes' selection recognizes the most successful young entrepreneurs and leaders.

The recognition is awarded in 10 categories, and Halilović was selected in the category "Law and Politics".

In the previous years, Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković and Croatian entrepreneur Mate Rimac were among those who received this award from our region.

“I am honored to be included in the Forbes list of young leaders, "30 Under 30". I literally gave everything I could to the War Childhood Museum to be a top notch product, and the pleasure is that my work has been recognized at this level as well. It is a special honor to be the first Bosnian ever on the Forbes list. I have always wondered whether it is possible to be globally competitive in anything coming from a small developing country, and this Forbes recognition gives me hope that it is," said Halilović.
