SARAJEVO, January 16 (FENA) - The Council of Europe sent a letter to the director of the Sarajevo Winter Festival Ibrahim Spahić, confirming the patronage of Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland over the 34th edition of the festival which this year will be held under the motto ‘The Other Face of the World.’
It is noted in the letter that the Secretary General was pleased to accept the patronage of the International Sarajevo Winter Festival as the festival is an integral part of the Council of Europe's activities.
Spahić stressed that the Council of Europe has been a patron of the festival for the past 25 years, which confirms the continued commitment to the European values, announced the festival's directorate.
