MOSTAR, Jan 12 (FENA) – President of the HDZ 1990, Ilija Cvitanovic, and President of HDZ and Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic, met on Friday in Zagreb and discussed relations between the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Special emphasis was put on the position of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There was talk on the relations within the Croatian National Assembly (HNS), the European path of BiH, and the Euro-Atlantic integrations, says the statement issued by the HDZ 1990.
Cvitanovic has informed Prime Minister Plenkovic on the stands of the HDZ 1990, pointing out that the HDZ 1990 is a parliamentary party at all levels in BiH and underlined the party's goals in the election year.
The joint conclusion of today's meeting is that a meeting of the HDZ of the Republic of Croatia and the HDZ 1990 should be held in near future, all this in the spirit of the principle of their belonging to the European People's Party.
Prime Minister Plenkovic highlighted the importance of pluralism among Croats in BiH, and accordingly the role of the HDZ 1990, says the statement.
