Zvizdić-Cormack: Western Balkans’ perspective is in EU and NATO integration

SARAJEVO, January 10 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić met today with the US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Maureen Cormack.

Zvizdić and Ambassador Cormack talked about current political and economic situation in BiH and the region.

As the Council of Ministers of BiH stated, Zvizdić informed Cormack about the activities related to the finalization of the responses to the European Commission Questionnaire, as well as the new investment and development opportunities that have opened up for BiH after the adoption of the set of laws regarding the excise tax.  

Chairmen Zvizdić and Ambassador Cormack agreed that there BiH has developmental chances that will contribute to improving the lives of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening economic stability and encouraging investors to invest in projects in BiH.

The two also exchanged views on the current developments in terms of European and NATO integration, and stressed that the EU integration perspective for the Western Balkans guarantees peace, stability and security for the entire region.
