MOSTAR, Jan. 10 (FENA) - Within the framework of the Bosnia Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP) , energy efficiency measures will be implemented on four additional school buildings in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC).
To this end, Federal Minister of Urban Planning Josip Martic and representatives of Promark d.o.o. Mostar, which will be the contractor of the project, signed contract for renovation of four school buildings.
Total KM 2.19 million with VAT will be invested in the recnovation of the buildings, and the execution of the works will be in line with world standards in the field of energy efficiency, it was announced by the signatories of the contract.
The works are planned on the buildings of the Silvija Strahimir Kranjcevic Elementary School from Mostar, then the Primary School of Cardinal Stepinac from Neum, the Primary School "Dreznica" from Donja Dreznica, and the Secondary School "Jablanica" from Jablanica.
"In this way, we continue to cooperate successfully with the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, and the aim is to prove the benefits of energy efficiency, which, among other things, implies the improvement of comfort in the facilities, but also savings on electricity bills," said Minister Martic.
To remind, the implementation of the works within the BEEP project will realize energy efficiency measures for a total of 37 public health and education facilities across the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as better conditions for 80,000 beneficiaries.
