BANJA LUKA, January 7 (FENA) - On the territory of the entity of Republika Srpska (RS) there are 54 organizational units of banks from the Federation of BiH, which belong to seven banks seated in FBiH.
In the first nine months of 2017, they granted loans totaling at KM 1 217.2 million, or 20.32 percent of the total loans issued in RS.
These loans were higher by 10 percent compared to the end of 2016, when they amounted to KM 1 107.5 million and accounted for 19.5 percent of total loans in RS, stated the RS Banking Agency.
Organizational units of banks seated in the Federation of BiH in the reporting period collected the total deposits in RS amounting to KM 719.2 million, or 12 percent of total deposits of the banking sector with a growth rate of 6 percent.
When it comes to banks in RS, according to the ownership structure of share capital, private capital holds 99 percent, and RS holds only 1 percent of share capital.
