Ivanić: All of us should strive to be better human beings

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, January 5 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Member Mladen Ivanić extended Christmas greetings to the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Irinej, to metropolitans, bishops, clergy and monks of the Serbian Orthodox Church and to all Orthodox Christians.

“Christmas is the most joyous Christian holiday, the day Jesus Christ was born in the darkness of the Bethlehem cave and brought new light to the people. Christmas is a holiday that specifically promotes two key values - love and peace. And this is what we particularly need in these times - love, in order to understand each other, and peace, in order to progress together.

All of us together need to strive to be better human beings, to refrain from conflicts, to show much more tolerance - to make life better for everyone,” wrote in his greetings a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanić.
