Heightened monitoring continues in FBiH due to snowfall and hydrometeorological risks

SARAJEVO, January 7 (FENA) – Competent institutions at all levels of government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) continue to closely monitor hydrometeorological conditions, as forecasts by the FBiH Hydrometeorological Institute indicate that further snowfall is expected in the coming period, potentially causing disruptions. In addition, rapid snowmelt could trigger flash floods and landslides, the FBiH Government Public Relations Office said.
