SARAJEVO, July 12 (FENA) - A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Julian Reilly, about the relations between the two countries and the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the conversation, it was noted that the first working visit of the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, to the UK was very successful, and that important meetings were held with the Prime Minister of the UK Rishi Sunak, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development James Cleverly, the Minister of the Armed Forces James Heappey, the UK Prime Minister's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Stuart Peach, the Chair of the UK Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee Alicia Kearns and many other UK officials.
As announced by the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bećirović reiterated that the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed his commitment to support the democratic forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina who stand for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the talks in London.
Ambassador Reilly pointed out that the United Kingdom, as a witness to the Dayton Peace Agreement, is determined to continue to be a factor of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated the BiH Presidency.
