Bećirović requests a session of BiH Presidency to allocate funds for flooded areas

SARAJEVO, May 18 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, sent a request to hold an extraordinary session of the Presidency of BiH, to allocate funds from the budget reserves of the Council of Ministers of BiH for the repair of damage caused by floods in the area of the Una-Sana Canton and the Municipality of Čelić.

"In view of the large material damages caused in the area of the Una-Sana Canton and the Municipality of Čelić caused by floods, it is necessary that the Council of Ministers of BiH urgently approve intervention funds from the budget of the institutions of BiH and international obligations of BiH for the year 2023 in the amount of 2,000,000 KM for Una-Sana Canton and 300,000 KM for the Municipality of Čelić, with the aim of assisting in the repair of the damage," it was stated in the request.

Bećirović proposed that the Presidency instruct the BiH Council of Ministers to allocate the necessary funds at that session, and he sent the request for the session to the chair and member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović and Željko Komšić, the Cabinet of the member of the BiH Presidency announced.
