SARAJEVO, May 16 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, formally completed all preparatory activities and initiated the procedure regarding the dismissal of the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Malaysia, Senaid Memić, who is suspected of abuse of position or authority while he was in the position of the municipal mayor of Ilidža.
"In this sense, Bećirović proposed the dismissal of the incumbent ambassador to Malaysia, Senaid Memić, and the appointment of a new ambassador to that country," said Alija Kožljak, head of Bećirović's cabinet, for FENA.
At the same time, Bećirović requested that an extraordinary session of the BiH Presidency be urgently scheduled, at which the decision on the dismissal of the incumbent ambassador and the appointment of a new ambassador would be officially made.
In this context, Kožljak specified that Dr. Edin Jahić was nominated by Bećirović to be the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Malaysia.
He added that he is a competent person, a doctor of science and a man who was educated and graduated in the capital of Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, and an excellent professional with extensive international experience who worked in the European Commission, the European Union, the United Nations.
