MOSTAR, May 3 (FENA) – The BiH Council of Ministers will continue to work even more intensively on all projects, including the "Eastern Interconnection" that we need, as well as the necessary "Southern Interconnection" and many other projects that we will have to solve very quickly, unlike the time in the past four years, said Deputy Chair of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Čović today.

He expressed hope that the Council of Ministers will finish all the backlogs in ten days and start with the new work program and the adoption of the long-awaited law.

He said that, due to the division of responsibilities, he will try to link what the entities should do in parallel. He believes that it is equally important to connect science, business, economy, and politics.

“I am convinced that the FBiH Government will make all the decisions and laws we need much faster and more substantively to bring the energy sector closer to standards. We have hundreds of solar energy projects in Herzegovina but we haven't resolved key issues such as legislation, how to connect it to households, how to network it, and what to do with that energy. We haven't even built the infrastructure to the end. All this is what the FBiH level of government must primarily bring, but also what we need from the BiH level,” he explained.

Čović believes that the state has its level that must correspond with our environment, with the European Union, but also with the surrounding countries.

Commenting on the statement of Milorad Dodik, who said that Čović agreed with Elmedin Konaković on the Electoral Law, Čović said that he will not fall into the trap of working out who is doing what based on a spin.

“The problems of the Federation and the agreement on the Electoral Law are primarily problems of the Federation, but also of Bosnia and Herzegovina. To be adopted, the Election Law is amended at the BiH level. We will talk about this in the next six months, but not in everyday life. We will try to complete these tasks so that the High Representative never has to impose anything again. We have enough time for that,” he stressed.

He is sure that he will continue to cooperate very well with Dodik and that they will solve problems as they go, and that this will not in any way affect the level of executive and legislative power at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
