SARAJEVO, January 31 (FENA) - The oldest museum and scientific institution in our country - the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrates its 135th anniversary on February 1, and in addition to the permanent exhibitions at all three departments, captivating additional content has been prepared for people of all ages with special emphasis on museum publishing.
As confirmed to FENA from the Museum, visitors can expect the library's Open Days - a tour of the depot with an accompanying exhibition about the Herald, while the Sarajevo Haggadah will be exhibited on two occassions, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
In addition, the Gazette of the National Museum, Journal of Ethnology No. 51 and the study "Sevdalinka – from the first news to contemporary singers" will be presented, along with the musical program of the alteRatio ensemble, as well as the Gazette of ZMBiH - Journal of Natural Sciences No. 39.
The workshop "Sevdalinka through the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina" has been prepared for the youngest.
Among other things, two exhibitions will be opened. "Before It's Gone" in cooperation with Academy VII and the exhibition "Heritage Protection for Peace Building" by the ALIPH Foundation.
On the birthday of the National Museum of BiH, the sale of museum publications will be possible at reduced prices of 50 percent, and the entrance for all visitors is free.
