SARAJEVO, December 4 (FENA) - The largest charity event in Bosnia and Herzegovina - "Diplomatic Winter Bazaar", whose mission is to collect funds for humanitarian purposes, to help children and young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, took place on Saturday at Skenderija Center.
This unique event, which is being held again in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its original format, after the online edition during the previous years due to the coronavirus pandemic, spurred great interest.
The bazaar atracted an extremely large number of visitors, as well as exhibitors, who offered a large selection of exotic dishes and drinks, as well as unique handicrafts, souvenirs and various items from all over the world at numerous stands.
Among the participants who provided assistance to the organizers of the Bazaar is the non-governmental humanitarian organization "Norwegian People's Aid", which was engaged in the demining process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The representative of this organization, Selma Antić told FENA that they were there to collect funds to help children throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, reminding that it was a humanitarian event, the organization of which is due to a committee made up of representatives of various embassies.
"More than 40 embassies and international organizations, as well as a certain number of governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated in the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar," said Antić.
In addition to the German Embassy, new exhibitors at the bazaar were the embassies of Algeria, Azerbaijan and Australia, as well as the Jewish community.
