SARAJEVO, November 9 (FENA) - The newly appointed judges of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ajša Softić, Mirko Milićević and Branimir Orašanin took the solemn oath today before the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marinko Čavar, in the presence of the Vice Presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Melika Mahmutbegović and Milan Dunović.
Before the solemn act of taking the oath, Čavara addressed the newly appointed judges of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He congratulated the judges on their appointment and thanked them for their readiness to perform this responsible and honorable duty, and wished them successful, quality and efficient work in the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also pointed out that by appointing these judges, the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Council for the Protection of Vital Interests have a quorum for work and can make decisions.
Mahmutbegović and Dunović extended their congratulations to the judges.
President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko Čavara, made a decision on the appointment of judges of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 5, which was confirmed by the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 19, the Office of the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
