FBiH Tax Administration uncovers more than 10,000 unregistered employees in its inspections

SARAJEVO, October 21 (FENA) - On October 20, the inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina carried out 323 inspection activities in the wider area of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, covering taxpayers who perform various types of activities.

In the course of performed controls, 100 unregistered employees were discovered, 101 taxpayers who did not record turnover through a fiscal device, 17 taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed, and 19 taxpayers who performed their activities without authorization for the work of the competent authority.

Due to the established irregularities, 48 facilities were sealed, 211 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 433,700 KM in fines.

So far, inspectors have discovered 10,091 unregistered employees, as of October 20, 2022.

In addition to undeclared workers, during quick checks, it was determined that 3,325 taxpayers worked without a work permit, that 2,553 taxpayers did not have a fiscal device installed, and that 9,717 taxpayers did not issue fiscal invoices.

Due to these irregularities, 5,975 facilities were sealed and in 18,504 controls, misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 45,856,975 KM in fines.
