SARAJEVO, June 3 (FENA) - The area of the municipality of Tešanj, this morning around 2.00 am, was hit by a storm accompanied by strong winds, thunder and heavy rain. Within 30 minutes, 35 l/m2 of rain fell in the area.
The most extreme storm was registered in the area of local communities along the Usora River (Piljužići, Miljanovci-Lončari, Novi Miljanovci, Jelah, Bobare-Drinčići-Blaževci). There were no reports of flooding.
Strong gusts of wind caused the trees to be uprooted. Five interventions of the Professional Fire Brigade (PVJ) were needed due to falling trees (Jelah, Piljužići, Bobare, and two interventions in Miljanovci).
One residential building was significantly damaged due to a direct fall of a tree. Damage to one passenger vehicle was also reported, the FBiH Civil Protection Administration reported.
