SARAJEVO, May 31 (FENA) - After the sudden news of the death of the delegate of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, Segmedina Srna-Bajramović, the session of the House of Representatives was adjourned.
After a half-hour break, which was announced by the Speaker of the House Mirsad Zaimović shortly after the sad news, which had not yet been confirmed, the delegates paid tribute to the deceased colleague, and Zaimović announced that the session would probably continue on Monday, of which deputies will be notified by Sunday this week.
The Speaker previously expressed his condolences to the party colleagues of Segmedina Srna-Bajramović in the House of Representatives, the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP BiH).
On behalf of the party's parliamentary group, Damir Mašić, delegate of the House of Representatives, gave a statement to reporters after the session was adjourned.
“She has always been a brave and strong woman in politics and in general, in life, and we will remember her as such. With all that, she was cheerful and always smiling. Not only SDP, I think the whole society has lost one good person,” he said.
Segmedina Srna Bajramović was a delegate of the current convocation of the House of Peoples in the FBiH Parliament, elected to that position as a member of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.
