SARAJEVO, May 24 (FENA) - High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt visited the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he met with Acting Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić.
The joint activities and efforts of the two institutions in the process of strengthening the rule of law, respecting the law and working for the benefit of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed.
Acting Chief Prosecutor Kajganić informed High Representative Schmidt about the work and capacities of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in all areas, and the competencies of the institution, cooperation with partner judicial and police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and abroad, as well as anti-corruption and organized crime activities, terrorism, impunity for war crimes, as well as other cases within the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
The High Representative expressed support for this judicial institution in the process of strengthening the rule of law on Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path, the BiH Prosecutor's Office said.
