IGC: We will urge Canada, US and EU to reexamine the unjust arrests of BiH citizens in Serbia

SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) - The Genocide Research Institute of Canada (IGC) received a shocking letter from Anela Osmanović, daughter of Osman Osmanović, a former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was arrested in Serbia without any indication that judicial institutions in BiH or the Hague tribunal considered it appropriate to initiate proceedings.

The letter states that Osmanović has been in custody in Belgrade's central prison since November 23, 2019. He was arrested at the Sremska Rača border crossing upon entering Serbia.

According to the statement, IGC will intensify the media and every other campaign and call on Canada, the United States and the European Union to consider seriously endangering the human rights and freedoms of unjustly arrested citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Serbia, the Genocide Research Institute of Canada said.
