BANJA LUKA, April 20 (FENA) - Citizens of Banja Luka and other parts of the BiH entity Republika Srpska gathered today at the Krajina Square, where the rally under the title ‘Freedom’ was held, which began with the intonation of the anthems of the Republika Srpska and Serbia.

Member of the Presidency of BiH and leader of SNSD Milorad Dodik, as well as RS President Željka Cvijanović and Entity Prime Minister Radovan Višković, ministers in the RS Government and RS representatives in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina were also present at the Krajina Square.

The protest rally was organized by the Republika Srpska Veterans' Organization (BORS) with the aim of sending a message to the public about objecting to the imposed decisions of High Representative Christian Schmidt.

They were particularly bothered by Schmidt's latest decision when he used the Bonn powers to suspend the Law on Immovable Property passed by the RS National Assembly.

Representatives of the RS authorities, gathered around the SNSD, gave their support to the gathering, while the opposition assessed that SNSD was behind the organization of the protest and that the Veterans' Organization was abused.

Representatives of BORS addressed the gathered, urging them not to forget those who fought and lost their lives in the last war in the RS Army, which in numerous verdicts of the International Criminal Court was ruled as the army that committed the most serious war crimes.

Numerous participants of the gathering, dressed in the uniforms of the Army of the Republika Srpska, could be seen in the pictures from Banja Luka.
