SARAJEVO, April 14 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović extended congratulations to Jakov Finci, President of the Jewish Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all the Jews in BiH and abroad on the occasion of the great holiday of Passover.
“Dear Mr. Finci, I extend my warmest congratulations to you and the Jews of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the country and the diaspora on the occasion of Passover. This great holiday, which symbolizes the acquisition of freedom, salvation and hope for a better tomorrow, is a day that celebrates the deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery. Freedom is a fundamental human value that is always worth fighting for,” it is stated in the greeting card.
Džaferovic wished the Jews in Bosnia and Herzegovina to spend holidays in health, peace, security and happiness, and to share the joy of the holiday in the spirit of the Bosnian tradition with family, friends and neighbors.
