SARAJEVO, March 22 (FENA) - Companies operating in the Federation of BiH generated a total revenue of 55,230,414,062 KM in 2021, which is about 16 percent more than the previous year, according to the first processed and preliminary data on business subjects available on the website Akta.ba.
The number of business entities that submitted final financial reports for last year was 23,659, including small, large and medium enterprises.
Companies in the Federation of BiH employed 348,500 workers in the real sector, while in 2020, that number was 350,889.
Unlike the first pandemic year, which left many consequences, in the second pandemic year, in addition to the revenues, the total profit of companies grew.
Thus, the profit was presented by 16,328 companies in the total amount of 4,078,919,605 KM, while 6,548 operated with a loss in the total amount of 651,366,037 KM.
The financial report with the amount of zero was submitted by 737 companies.
As of today, financial indicators for 23,659 companies are available on the Akta.ba portal, and they can be searched within the Register.
