SARAJEVO, March 7 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić and FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić attended today the solemn session of the Supervisory Board of the Weapons and Ammunition Factory "Igman" Konjic, on the occasion of marking the 72nd anniversary of this company.
This company in the field of military industry, which is majority owned by the Government of the Federation of BiH with 51 percent of shares, and one hundred percent exporter to the world market, recorded another successful year of business.
"Igman in Konjic confirms how the company is successfully run and developed. Production and products are adjusted to the needs of the world market, trends are followed, technology is modernized, and the number of employees is increased. Today we were convinced that the production capacities of the factory were filled by the end of this year, and we had the opportunity to see a new production line, which indicates that this year will be another successful year of the Igman company. Therefore, I would like to extend my congratulations to the management, and especially the workers, 1380 of them, without whom it would not be possible to achieve such results. Igman has a certain and bright future", said Prime Minister Novalić.
At the solemn session of the Supervisory Board of the factory, it was pointed out that Igman produced ammunition worth 151 million KM in the past year, and compared to 2020, increased exports by 12 percent.
In the congratulations of the management and administration of Igman sent to the employees, it was pointed out that the workers are the greatest wealth of the factory that builds, preserves and develops it, the Press Service of the FBiH Government announced.
