SARAJEVO, March 4 (FENA) - Former High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schwarz-Schilling has delivered a letter supporting the Declaration on Bosnia and Herzegovina's Constitutional and Other Reforms on the Path to the European Union and NATO.
“From the very beginning, I have been tirelessly promoting and spreading the principles for amending the BiH Constitution, and I am happy to follow the expansion and the great response to such an important initiative,” wrote Schwarz-Schilling.
The declaration, signed by a wide range of people and organizations, whose primary goal is to build a democratic, better and secure future in a stable rule of law, is a big step forward, said the former High Representative in BiH.
He says that he has been fighting for such Bosnia and Herzegovina for the last 30 years, the state of all its citizens, and he called on the signatories of the Declaration not to give up and keep in mind that the fight for democracy has no alternative.
As announced by the Council of the Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals (VKBI), the Council for the Implementation of the Declaration will specify the requirements based on the Declaration and ask Schwarz-Schilling to submit and present them to officials in Germany, the European Union and the Council of Europe.
