SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - Today's meeting with the EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi was dedicated to the economic and investment plan for the Western Balkans, said the BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija.

Tegeltija states that the talks did not go well because Varhelyi underlined that the projects that have already been approved for the Vc corridor and the railway will not be signed until certain political issues are resolved in BiH.

"I expressed absolute dissatisfaction with such an attitude of the European Union because it is about the introduction of sanctions against Republika Srpska, which is the one to benefit from those projects. The introduction of sanctions is not good because it puts us in a situation to block all projects in BiH," said Tegeltija.

He says that the entity of Republika Srpska "will not allow the blocking of those projects, and that there are two ways to solve this problem."

"One way is to find new investors and the other to turn to other projects," said Tegeltija.

"I hope that the European Union members will understand that blocking economic projects means punishing one people and that it will not bring anything good, especially solve the political crisis in BiH," Tegeltija concluded.
