MOSTAR, February 10 (FENA) - The Slovak Embassy in BiH donated 30,000 antigen tests to the Mostar Health Center and the Stari Grad Health Center today.
“We received 30,000 tests from the Slovak Republic, which recognized the need to help us, and both our health centers will use this to control the entire epidemiological situation,” said director of the Mostar Health Center Kristina Bevanda.
Director of the Stari Grad Health Center, Edin Kapetanović, also expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic and his country for this valuable gesture.
The tests will be divided according to the needs of the patients of both health centers.
Slovak Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Martin Kačo said this was only a small part of his country's contribution to BiH in the fight against the pandemic.
“We hope that the pandemic will stop in order to increase the number of our tourists for whom the Mostar area is very important and special,” said the Slovak Ambassador to BiH.
He reminded that about 10,000 pilgrims from his country visited Medjugorje every year and hoped that this would continue in the future.
