SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Australia Kemal Muftić presented his credentials to the Governor-General of Australia David Hurley.

In the conversation, after the solemn act of handing over the credentials held at the residence of the Governor-General in Canberra, the interlocutors agreed that bilateral relations between the two countries are good and that there are no open issues.

It was stated that friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Australia are not accompanied by an appropriate level of economic cooperation, and there are possibilities for its expansion.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the launch of the procedure for concluding the Agreement on Social Security, the finalization of which is expected soon.

Australia is home to a significant number of people from Bosnia and Herzegovina who have immigrated at different periods.

Through their work and engagement in the associations in which they gather, they contribute to strengthening the cooperation between the two countries on a daily basis, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
