Šarović: SDS will not attend tomorrow's opposition meeting

FENA Press release

ZVORNIK, December 23 (FENA) - The Serb Democratic Party (SDS) will not attend tomorrow's meeting at the invitation of the DNS.

"We believe that the opposition meeting scheduled for Friday is premature and not prepared in the best way. More time is needed for its preparation, considering the important topics that we need to discuss at that meeting," it is said in the conclusion of the SDS Presidency, whose session was held today in Zvornik.

The SDS rejects the possibility of joint lists for the general elections saying that they are unacceptable for that political party.

"The SDS will soon propose initiatives for opposition activities and for the format of cooperation of all opposition parties. Our initiatives for the opposition activities and cooperation of the parties will follow immediately after the holidays, about which we will inform all our partners from the opposition," said the president of the SDS, Mirko Šarović.
