EAST SARAJEVO, November 16 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik said today that everybody in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region is talking about the secession, but that there is no concrete plan to pursue a policy of secession.
“We will continue to fight with political and legal means for the implementation of the Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement, as it is written. Only the Constitution and the activities of Dayton, which provide for respect for the letter of Dayton, are acceptable to us,” he said at a press conference after a meeting with the Adviser of the United States Department of State Derek Chollet.
According to him, Bosnia and Herzegovina can exist only if it respects historical and ethnic realities. In that regard, he says, it is clear that BiH is composed of two entities and three constituent peoples.
“It only makes sense, it can be sustainable,” he emphasized.
As he said, they prepared and submitted to the National Assembly of the RS "extensive information on the violation of the Constitution in BiH, an effort to return to the constitutional position."
“This implies general information which envisages the withdrawal of compliance with 140 laws, which were imposed by the High Representative. The legal basis for this is the fact that the Constitution does not provide for the High Representative to propose a law to the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, which should adopt it. The constitution only stipulates that it is the Presidency and the Council of Ministers,” he said.
