KULT allocates around 80,000 KM for young people on International Youth Day

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 12 (FENA) - International Youth Day is marked on August 12, and on that occasion the Institute for Youth Development KULT today signed contracts with organizations from all over BiH and thus provided support for young people in the amount of about 80,000 KM.

With today's signing of the contract, young people will have the opportunity to be part of the non-formal education program, participate in marking the trail in the southern part of Bjelašnica, be part of the play "Youth and corona - young artists for their generation", but also advocate and be part of the decision-making process. Also, support will be given to young people with disabilities, through empowering students for the role of personal assistant and through recording audiobooks for visually impaired young people.

International Youth Day was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999 and has been celebrated worldwide ever since. Every year, Youth Day has a special theme, and in 2020 it is the engagement of young people for global action, which aims to highlight how youth participation at the local, national and global levels enriches institutions and decision-making processes, announced KULT.
