SARAJEVO, August 12 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 1.029 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH, of which 159 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
New cases have been registered in Una-Sana, Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla, Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina, Central Bosnia, Bosnia Podrinje, Posavina and Sarajevo Canton.
A total of 97.868 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 8.929 individuals in FBiH.
In the past 24 hours, four deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. Two men from Sarajevo, one man from Gračanica and a woman from Goražde passed away.
“In the last 24 hours in Republika Srpska coronavirus was confirmed in 94 people out of 525 samples tested, and two deaths were reported - a middle-aged man and an elderly woman from Banja Luka and Pale, respectively,” said today Director of the RS Institute of Public Health Branislav Zeljković.
Zeljković announced that all parameters for the beginning of the school year will be defined this week, and added that there are several options.
According to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Institute, the price of commercial tests for coronavirus as of today in RS is 150 KM. To date, it was 200 KM and 3,700 have been made.
