SARAJEVO, August 10 (FENA) – Head of the Crisis Staff of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Health Aida Pilav took a vacation in the midst of the peak of the coronavirus pandemic in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to which the Our Party Caucus at the Sarajevo Canton Assembly reacted.
"At a time when the Sarajevo Canton has more infected persons than the state of Slovenia, the head of the Crisis Staff is taking a vacation and left the country, instead of doing her job. When all citizens are advised not to leave the borders of BiH unnecessarily, it is incredible that the person in charge of managing the crisis situation of the canton with the largest number of infected people decides to go on vacation.
Due to all the above, we demand the dismissal of Aida Pilav from the position of Head of the Crisis Staff and the appointment of a person who will responsibly manage the crisis and contribute to the control and stabilization of the situation in our canton with adequate measures. We will ask the Sarajevo Canton Assembly to make a decision regarding this issue at the next session, on August 20", it is stated in the announcement of the Public Relations Department of Our Party.
