SARAJEVO, August 2 (FENA) - Funeral prayer for the FBiH Minister for Veteran Affairs and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War, Salko Bukvarević, was held yesterday in the harem of the Džindić mosque in Tuzla, where he was buried.
The funeral was led by the Mufti of Tuzla, Vahid Effendi Fazlović.
Before the funeral and burial, commemorations were held in the building of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo, and in the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla, where state and entity officials, party colleagues, comrades, friends and family members sent off in a last farewell Minister Salko Bukvarević.
The FBiH Minister for Veteran Affairs and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War Salko Bukvarević passed away on July 29 at the Clinic for Pneumology Podhrastovi of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).
Bukvarević was born in 1967 in Kalesija. He was an associate professor at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering in Tuzla. He was appointed the Minister of Veteran Affairs in 2015.
