SARAJEVO, July 21 (FENA) - The Democratic Front believes that the delegates in the House of Peoples coming from the HDZ BiH, through the amendment procedure and other related manipulations, knowingly pushed the budget proposal for additional harmonization, and thus took another step in prolonging the local elections with the end goal of preventing the holding of the elections altogether.
It is clear that the intention was to create different versions of the text of the state budget proposal in the two parliamentary houses with the aim of needing further harmonization.
The mere prolonging of the adoption of the budget, which in this case cannot be adopted until mid-August, proves that the ultimate intention of the HDZ BiH is to completely prevent the holding of the elections.
This shows that the HDZ BiH has continuity in attacking the democratic institution of elections and deepening the political crisis for the sake of its own interests to the detriment of citizens and the country, stated the DF in its reaction today.
